Elehuris Montero on Colorado bench Wednesday
Colorado Rockies infielder Elehuris Montero is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Seth Lugo and the San Diego Padres.
Montero will take a breather after going 0-for-3 with 3 strikeouts on Tuesday. Kris Bryant will move to first base and cleanup duty Wednesday afternoon while Charlie Blackmon starts at designated hitter and bats leadoff for Colorado. Nolan Jones will hit third and Ezequiel Tovar will bat sixth after leading off last game.
