Jake Fraley joining Reds bench Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jake Fraley is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Lucas Giolito and the Cleveland Guardians.
Fraley will sit after going 0-for-4 with a strikeout last game. The Reds will start Spencer Steer, TJ Friedl, and Will Benson across the outfield, with Joey Votto serving as designated hitter and batting fifth. Christian Encarnacion-Strand will start on first base and bat cleanup for Cincinnati.
numberFire’s models project Steer ($3,300) for 10.5 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds' implied total is an unappealing 3.72 and the game total is 7.5. Giolito has a 4.60 ERA and 4.37 xERA this season, with a 26.0% strikeout rate (top 70th percentile of MLB) and mediocre 8.5% walk rate.
