Braves' Sean Murphy not in Thursday lineup
The Atlanta Braves did not list Sean Murphy as a starter for Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
Murphy will catch a breather Thursday while the Braves install Travis d'Arnaud at catcher and have him bat seventh against the Cubs.
Murphy's first season with the Braves has been a smashing success. The former Athletics catcher has hit 21 homers over 434 plate appearances this year, with 65 runs, 68 RBI, a .253 average and a .845 OPS.
