Astros leave Victor Caratini off Sunday lineup
The Houston Astros did not include Victor Caratini in their lineup for Sunday's game against the New York Yankees.
What It Means:
Caratini made a start at catcher on Saturday to give Yainer Diaz a breather, but will move back to the bench with Diaz taking back over behind home plate. Chas McCormick will rejoin the lineup in left field and bat seventh.
Caratini is projected for 276 plate appearances this season, with 7 homers, 28 runs, 30 RBI, and a .239 average in those appearances.
