Rays' Curtis Mead moves to bench Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Curtis Mead is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Nathan Eovaldi and the Texas Rangers.
Mead started the first two games of the series, including against a righty, and went 3-for-7 with a walk, a run, and 2 strikeouts. Brandon Lowe will take back over on second base and bat second after being held out of the lineup versus a lefty on Tuesday. Harold Ramirez will move back down and hit sixth.
numberFire's models project Lowe for 8.3 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Ramirez is projected for 8.5 FanDuel points.
