Chicago Cubs catcher Miguel Amaya is not in the lineup for Friday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Bobby Miller and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
Amaya will take a seat for the matinee after starting the last two games. Yan Gomes will catch for Kyle Hendricks and hit ninth.
