Cubs' Mike Tauchman starting in left field Sunday
The Chicago Cubs listed Mike Tauchman as a starter for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Tauchman will take up his glove in left field and is listed eighth in the Cubs' batting order Sunday. Ian Happ will drop to designated hitter, Christopher Morel will shift to third base, and Nick Madrigal will take a seat.
Tauchman has a $2,300 salary on FanDuel and is projected for 8.9 FanDuel points against the Dodgers. The journeyman had strong stretches last year in his first campaign with the Cubs and could get a chance to build on that in 2024.
