Joc Pederson riding pine Wednesday afternoon for Arizona
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Joc Pederson is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Austin Gomber and the Colorado Rockies.
What It Means:
The left-handed hitting Pederson will sit against the Rockies' lefty pitcher. Ketel Marte will replace Pederson at designated hitter and bat leadoff. Corbin Carroll will move down a spot and hit second. Kevin Newman will also replace Jace Peterson on second base and bat ninth.
