Kansas City Royals outfielder Hunter Renfroe is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Hunter Brown and the Houston Astros.

Renfroe extended his hitting streak to six games on Wednesday with a double, but the Royals are giving him a breather on Thursday afternoon. Nelson Velazquez will shift to the outfield, while Salvador Perez will play first base and Vinnie Pasquantino will serve as the designated hitter.
