Red Sox's David Hamilton sitting for Patriots' Day Game
Boston Red Sox infielder David Hamilton is not in the lineup for Monday's Patriots' Day Game against right-hander Xzavion Curry and the Cleveland Guardians.
Hamilton will sit after starting six of the last seven games at shortstop. Ceddanne Rafaela will shift to shortstop, while Jarren Duran will start in center field and Tyler O'Neill will cover left field. Wilyer Abreu will start in the other outfield corner and hit sixth. Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Abreu will be a regular against righties moving forward, so Hamilton could settle into a utility reserve role.
numberFire's models project Rafaela for 8.0 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $5,500 salary on the single-game slate. Abreu ($5,500) is projected for 10.3 FanDuel points.
