Ke'Bryan Hayes (back) out again Wednesday for Pirates
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Ke'Bryan Hayes (back) is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Luis Severino and the New York Mets.
Hayes will remain sidelined after he was scratched late on Tuesday due to back tightness. Jared Triolo will cover third base again and hit eighth. Connor Joe will hit third in place of Hayes.
numberFire's models project Triolo for 7.9 and Joe for 9.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates' implied total (3.70) is tied for No. 26 in the majors today.
