Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Gabriel Moreno (thumb) is back in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Jordan Wicks and the Chicago Cubs.

Moreno was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to a thumb injury he suffered in Monday's series opener, but he will catch for Brandon Pfaadt and bat seventh on Wednesday. Tucker Barnhart will be available off the bench.
