Koda Glover (back) lands on Nationals' disabled list
Washington Nationals reliever Koda Glover has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with lower back stiffness.
Glover injured his back in the shower Saturday before proceeding to blow a save against the Texas Rangers. It's not clear how much time he will be out for. Matt Albers appears to be the favorite for ninth-inning duties in Washington's bullpen.
The 24-year-old sophomore has twirled a 5.12 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with a 21.3 strikeout percentage across 19 1/3 innings this season while successfully converting on 8-of-10 save chances.
