Aramis Ramirez sits for first game of Pirates' doubleheader
Infielder Aramis Ramirez is out of the Pittsburgh Pirates' lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Chicago Cubs.
Ramirez's absence does not appear to be injury related, and is simply a way to avoid him playing both games. The Pirates will use Pedro Alvarez at first base and Jung-ho Kang at third base.
Alvarez is a cheap option on FanDuel at just $2,200, and our algorithms only have seven players returning more value than he does among first baseman. Consider using him if you are looking for places to save money. Kang on the other hand, can be safely avoided, as we have more than 40 third baseman returning more value than he does.
