Twins sign Addison Reed to two-year deal
According to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal, he Minnesota Twins have signed reliever Addison Reed to a two-year deal worth $16.75 million.
The deal is pending a physical. Reed pitched for both the New York Mets and Boston Red Sox in 2017. He'll be a late-inning guy with the chance to get a few saves alongside Fernando Rodney.
Over 76 innings, Reed went 2-3 with 19 saves, 76 strikeouts and a 2.84 ERA a season ago.
