Angels' Shohei Ohtani no longer scheduled to start on Sunday
Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia said pitcher Shohei Ohtani will have his Sunday start pushed back for "workload management."
Ohtani was originally scheduled to face Masahiro Tanaka on Sunday, but it sounds like the Angels want to give him some extra rest. His next start hasn't been announced yet, but he'll still be allowed to hit in the meantime.
Ohtani has posted a 3.35 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with 52 strikeouts over 40 1/3 innings this season.
