Julio Teheran throws 6 no-hit innings in Braves' win
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Julio Teheran pitched 6 no-hit innings while striking out 11 in a 4-1 victory over the San Diego Padres on Sunday.
Teheran did walk 3 batters, and he needed 95 pitches to get through 6 innings, which is probably the biggest reason he didn't get a chance to go the distance. However, it was also his first start since coming back from the disabled list, so the Braves probably had him on a pitch count. Teheran's big afternoon was still good enough for 61 FanDuel points.
Our models project Teheran for a 4.24 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 88 strikeouts over 104.1 innings pitched remaining this season.
