Athletics call up Edwin Jackson for 2018 debut Monday
Oakland Athletics pitcher Edwin Jackson has been called up from Triple-A Nashville and will make his 2018 major league debut on Monday against the Detroit Tigers.
Jackson agreed to a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals in January before opting out and signing with Oakland in June. He joins Octavio Dotel as the only two major leaguers to ever play for 13 teams. The 34-year-old right-hander twirled a 4.02 ERA over three starts at the Triple-A level.
numberFire's models project Jackson to score 23.4 FanDuel points on Monday.
