Amed Rosario in Mets' leadoff spot for Game 2 Thursday
New York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario is leading off against right-hander Jeff Brigham and the Miami Marlins in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader.
Rosario will replace Jack Reinheimer at shortstop. Jeff McNeil will replace Wilmer Flores at second base and bat second. Michael Conforto will hit third. Dominic Smith will replace Jay Bruce at first base and bat out of the cleanup spot. Brandon Nimmo will drop to the five-hole. Jose Reyes will replace Todd Frazier at the hot corner and bat seventh. Tomas Nido will replace Kevin Plawecki to catch left-hander Jason Vargas and bat eighth.
