Larry Nance, Cavs reach 4-year, $45 million extension
The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a 4-year, $45 million extension with forward/center Larry Nance.
This makes a ton of sense for both parties. With the move, the Cavs get to hold on to a young, athletic big, and Nance should finally see a boost in minutes from the low 20s he's averaged in his first three years in the league. Ty Lue has previously stated that Nance will start against smaller teams this year.
We project Nance as the 78th best fantasy asset this year, and--if you haven't drafted--you can generally get him several rounds after that. We have him hitting 55.8% of his field goals, 69.7% of his FTs, and adding 104 steals and 60 blocks.
