Jayson Tatum shoots woeful 1-of-18 in Celtics win
Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum made just 1-of-18 field goals on Monday in a 116-106 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Tatum missed all 3 of his 3-point attempts and went 3-of-4 from the free throw line. He finished with 5 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 turnover in 34.0 minutes. It was the second-worst shooting performance from a Celtic with at least 15 field goal attempts over the last 65 seasons. Gordon Hayward (hand) is facing an extended absence, so despite the awful outing, Tatum is going to continue to be asked to pick up the slack on offense. The Celtics will host the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
Tatum scored a season-low 22.6 FanDuel points on Monday. numberFire's models project him for 16.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 1.3 triples per contest over the rest of the season.
