D.J. Augustin (knee) unavailable for Magic on Wednesday
Orlando Magic point guard D.J. Augustin (left knee soreness) will not play on Wednesday versus the Los Angeles Lakers.
Augustin was considered doubtful for this one after aggravating a left knee issue on Monday. This is the front end of a back-to-back, so the Magic may be erring on the side of caution. Markelle Fultz figures to take on additional minutes with Augustin unavailable. Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross also may see more usage.
Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Magic have an implied total of 101.0 points, second-lowest on Wednesday's 10-game slate. The 212.5-point over/under for the game is also second-lowest.
