Jazz's Juwan Morgan starting Monday in place of Mike Conley (paternity)

Utah Jazz undrafted rookie power forward Juwan Morgan is starting in Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets on Monday afternoon.

What It Means:

The Jazz are down a starter while Mike Conley tends to the birth of his child. Morgan will start with Rudy Gobert in the frontcourt as he joins Royce O'Neale, Joe Ingles, and Donovan Mitchell in the starting five. Morgan will be making both his playoff debut and his first NBA start on Monday afternoon. He logged over 20 minutes twice during seeding play and averaged 5.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 0.5 3-pointers in those contests. Jordan Clarskon should still see a boost off the bench to help make up for Conley's absence.

numberFire's models expect Morgan to score 12.3 FanDuel points on Monday. He costs $3,500.
