Bogdan Bogdanovic headed to Hawks after Kings decline to match four-year $72 million offer sheet
Former Sacramento shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic will sign with Atlanta after the Kings declined to match the Hawks' offers sheet.
With the midnight deadline approaching, the Kings ultimately decided to not match the Hawks' offer. Bogdanovic will sign with Atlanta on a four-year deal worth $72 million and join a starting five that includes Trae Young, Danilo Gallinari, John Collins, and Clint Capela. The former 27th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft played in 61 games for the Kings last season, starting 28 of them.
Bogdanovic averaged 26.1 FanDuel points with the career-best 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.7 3-pointers last year. His 22.6 percent usage rate was third in the Kings' rotation behind De'Aaron Fox and Hield.
