Domantas Sabonis (ankle) a GTD for Pacers versus Cavaliers
Indiana Pacers power forward Domantas Sabonis is a game-time decision to play Wednesday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers due to left ankle soreness.
What It Means:
Pacers head coach Nate Bjorkgren said Sabonis twisted his ankle during Monday's matchup but that he was able to practice some on Tuesday. Tip-off versus the Cavaliers is scheduled for 7:00pm ET. Myles Turner figures to benefit the most if Sabonis is sidelined while JaKarr Sampson and Goga Bitazde would also be in line for more minutes. Doug McDermott (tooth) has been cleared to play and may see an uptick in usage if Sabonis misses his first game of the season.
numberFire’s models project Sabonis for 44.5 FanDuel points versus the Cavs and he has a salary of $9,200 on Wednesday’s 10-game slate. Turner is averaging 1.3 FanDuel points per minute when Sabonis is off the court this season, compared to 0.8 when they share the floor.
