Isaiah Thomas (health protocols) won't make Pelicans' debut Sunday
New Orleans Pelicans guard Isaiah Thomas will not play Sunday in the team's game against the Houston Rockets.
Thomas recently signed a 10-day contract with the Pels, but he hasn't been cleared to play just yet due to the NBA's health and safety protocols surrounding COVID-19. It's unclear when he'll be good to go.
In 40 games for the Wizards last season, Thomas averaged 12.2 points, 3.7 assists and 1.7 rebounds.
