Kings' Keegan Murray (protocols) misses practice Tuesday
Sacramento Kings rookie power forward Keegan Murray (health & safety protocols) did not practice on Tuesday.
Murray missed the Kings' final two preseason games and it looks like he will also miss Wednesday's opener against the Portland Trail Blazers. Murray's next chance to make his NBA debut will be on Saturday versus the Los Angeles Clippers, but Kings head coach Mike Brown said he wants Murray to get through a full practice before the lottery pick is cleared to play. Murray might initially come off the bench for Sacramento, but he's expected to secure a starting role sooner than later. Trey Lyles and Richaun Holmes should see more minutes in Wednesday's opener.
numberFire's models project Murray to average 31.8 minutes, 13.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.4 3-pointers per game.
