Kristaps Porzingis (groin) out for Washington on Thursday
Washington Wizards center Kristaps Porzingis (groin) has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Porzingis has been downgraded from questionable to out and will not play against Dallas on Thursday. Daniel Gafford will likely start with Porzingis sidelined. Rui Hachimura could also see more minutes. Taj Gibson (neck) has also been ruled out.
The Wizards are 5.0-point underdogs against the Mavericks on Thursday. Their implied team total of 102.0 points is the second-lowest team total on Thursday's four-game main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
