Desmond Bane (toe) out for Grizzlies 2-3 weeks
Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Desmond Bane (toe) will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks.
Bane has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 right big toe sprain that he suffered last week. John Konchar started in place of Bane on Sunday and he will likely remain in the lineup for the time being. David Roddy should also see more minutes off the bench while Bane is sidelined and Dillon Brooks gets a boost. The Grizzlies are visiting the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.
Bane is averaging 33.5 minutes per game and he has a 23.1% usage rate this season. Konchar is numberFire's second- and Brooks is our third-best point-per-dollar value on Tuesday's Main slate. However, per our NBA Heat Map, the Grizzlies’ implied total (112.5) is tied for fourth-lowest out of 10 active teams today.
