Fred VanVleet (illness) ruled out Wednesday for Raptors
Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet (illness) is out Wednesday versus the Brooklyn Nets.
VanVleet is a late scratch after not being on the initial injury report. Scottie Barnes (knee) and Dalano Banton (ankle) have also been ruled out, but the Raptors are fortunately welcoming Gary Trent Jr. (hip/illness) back Wednesday. Malachi Flynn will see more work with VanVleet unavailable and OG Anunoby should see a larger usage rate.
Flynn is now numberFire's third-best point-per-dollar value on Wednesday. He has a $4,600 salary and our models project him for 28.7 FanDuel points over 31.9 minutes of play. Trent has a $5,500 salary and is our sixth-best value.
