Ben Simmons (calf) targeting Friday return for Nets
Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons (calf) is planning to return on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Simmons will remain out for a fourth straight game on Wednesday versus the Charlotte Hornets, but Friday will be his next opportunity to play after that. The Hawks' game is the front end of a back-to-back for Brooklyn, so Simmons will likely sit out the second leg if he plays on Friday. Joe Harris has been starting in place of Simmons and more minutes have been available for Edmond Sumner and Cam Thomas off the bench.
Over his last seven healthy games, Simmons is averaging 37.2 FanDuel points in 31.4 minutes per game, with 13.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks.
