Justin Holiday joining Rockets in deal with Hawks

The Houston Rockets are acquiring guard/forward Justin Holiday and forward/center Frank Kaminsky from the Atlanta Hawks for shooting guard Garrison Mathews and power forward Bruno Fernando.

What It Means:

The Rockets traded Eric Gordon to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, so Holiday could help fill that void on the wing. However, the 33-year-old is unlikely to play a large role for a rebuilding Houston squad. Holiday only made two appearances for the Hawks, for a total of 11 minutes, since the end of December.

Holiday averaged 8.0 FanDuel points in 14.7 minutes over 28 games for the Rockets this season.
