Donovan Mitchell (knee) sitting out Tuesday for Cavaliers
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (left knee injury management) is out for Tuesday's game against the Utah Jazz.
The Cavaliers have decided to hold Mitchell out for the front end of their back-to-back. He will likely return for Wednesday's matchup with the Phoenix Suns. Caris LeVert will likely enter the starting lineup in place of Mitchell and Darius Garland and Max Strus should also see more ball-handling opportunities.
LeVert is averaging 30.7 minutes and 30.8 FanDuel points per game without Mitchell this season. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Cavs' implied total (115.25) is No. 4 out of 14 teams on the Main slate today.
