Jimmy Butler (knee) likely out multiple weeks for Heat
Miami Heat guard/forward Jimmy Butler (knee) is expected to be out for several weeks with a right MCL injury, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Butler suffered the injury in Wednesday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. He will be inactive for Friday's Play-In Tournament game against the Chicago Bulls, but if the Heat advance, Butler could return at some point in the playoffs. Jaime Jaquez Jr. is the favorite to replace Butler in the starting lineup and play a larger role. There should also be more opportunities for Tyler Herro, Haywood Highsmith, Caleb Martin, and Kevin Love.
numberFire's models project JJJ for 26.7 minutes and 21.1 FanDuel points on Friday. Herro is projected for 34.1 minutes and 32.7 FanDuel points in the elimination game.
