Toronto giving Jared Sullinger first start of season, Lucas Nogueira to bench
Toronto Raptors forward/center Jared Sullinger will start versus the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, bumping Lucas Nogueira to the bench.
What It Means:
Sullinger is averaging just 14.3 minutes in three games after sitting out the first 41 contests of the season, so he's still not a very attractive fantasy option, especially with Patrick Patterson (knee) back in the fold. Nogueira was playing excellent ball with Patterson out, so owners should see how much he plays tonight before deciding whether or not to cut ties.
Sullinger is projected to record 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds in 20.8 minutes on Tuesday night, according to numberFire's models.
