Eagles' Carson Wentz receives second opinion on back injury
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz received a second opinion on his injured back last week during the team's trip to Los Angeles.
Wentz is dealing with a fractured vertebra in his back that he would like to play through, but both Eagles and external doctors agree that the injury requires rest. Nick Foles will make a second straight start in Week 16 versus the Los Angeles Rams.
Wentz is averaging 18.2 FanDuel points this season, with 279.5 passing yards per game, 21 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions over 11 games.
