Broncos' Drew Lock (thumb) could practice next week
Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock will likely be practicing as early as next week, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Lock has been on injured reserve since before Week 1, and the heir apparent to Joe Flacco has been sidelined ever since. He's not eligible to return until next week anyways, and it's unclear what the plan is once - or if - he returns. However, if Denver continues to lose games, perhaps the rookie from Missouri could find his way into the starting lineup at some point.
In 13 games this season, Lock completed 275 passes on 437 attempts for 3,498 yards with 28 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
