Jets' Chris Herndon (ribs) to miss an 'extended amount of time'
New York Jets tight end Chris Herndon (ribs) will be out "an extended amount of time," coach Adam Gase said.
What It Means:
Herndon is dealing with a fractured rib and between injuries and a suspension, it appears that his second season will be an almost total loss.
He had just 1 catch for 7 yards on 2 targets on Sunday, his first (and potentially only) appearances of 2019.
