Darlington: Tom Brady not expected back with Patriots in 2020
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is not expected to return to the Patriots next season, according to Jeff Darlington of ESPN.
"I’m now at the point where I would be stunned if Tom Brady went back to New England," Darlington said Thursday. The Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Chargers, and Oakland Raiders are rumored to be Brady's most likely destinations. Brady, who turns 43 in August, is set to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.
Brady completed 60.8 percent of his passes for 4,057 yards (6.6 per attempt), 24 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions this season. It was his lowest yardage total in a 16-game season since 2010 and lowest YPA since 2002.
