Eagles snag wide receiver John Hightower at No. 168 overall
The Philadelphia Eagles have selected wide receiver John Hightower with the No. 168 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Eagles have had an interesting draft thus far, to say the least. After taking TCU wideout Jalen Reagor in the first round, it seemed as though the team was committing to giving Carson Wentz more weapons. However, the team turned course and drafted his presumed successor, Jalen Hurts, in the second round. Nevertheless, they went back to the well to take Hightower, just minutes after trading for Marquise Goodwin from the 49ers.
Last year, Hightower caught 51 passes for 943 yards and 8 touchdowns.
