Bouchette: Steelers 'likely to cut back' on James Conner's 2020 workload
According to Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Steelers running James Conner "will get every chance to show he can stay healthy, and they're likely to cut back on his carries even if he remains injury-free."
After playing a lead role last season, Conner will likely see more of a committee approach to "help save him and to use some of their other backs." Expect the 24-year old to ultimately share pass-down snaps with Jaylen Samuels and concede some touches to spark-plug rookie Anthony McFarland.
On 363 total rushing attempts, Conner has produced 54 broken tackles and 58.5% of his rushing yards after contact (926 of 1581).
