Lions' D'Andre Swift (illness) downgraded to doubtful for Week 13
Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (illness) has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.
It's been a rough couple of weeks for Swift since his big Week 10 game against the Washington Football Team. The rookie running back missed the Lions' last two games with a concussion, and is now in danger of missing a third consecutive game with his recent illness. Hopefully the promising young back can recover fully and quickly.
With Swift trending towards sitting out Sunday, the Lions will most likely use a combination of Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson again in Week 13. Despite trailing for much of the team's Week 12 loss to the Houston Texans, Peterson (15) and Johnson (11) combined for 26 carries out of the backfield.
