Rams sign former first-round bust Quinton Coples
The Los Angeles Rams have signed defensive end Quinton Coples, formerly of the Miami Dolphins, to a two-year contract.
Copies is the third defensive end the Rams have signed or re-signed during this offseason. However, Coples will have a chance to go back to a traditional 4-3 defensive end in Los Angeles. He will likely only see limited snaps backing up Robert Quinn and Williams Hayes. He will also be competing for snaps with Eugene Sims and Ethan Westbrooks.
The Rams ranked seventh in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play in 2015.
