Hunter Henry (shoulder) out for Patriots a couple weeks
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry is expected to miss “a couple of weeks” with a shoulder injury he suffered on Sunday, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The injury is reportedly "not serious" and Henry is on track to be back before Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. Jonnu Smith could potentially earn a larger pass-catching role in the preseason while Henry is hobbled, but the latter is still expected to be a preferred pass-catcher in the Patriots' offense. Henry, who signed a three-year deal with New England this offseason, has missed six games over the past two seasons due to injury.
Henry is currently the TE19 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to draw 78.8 targets and record 51.5 receptions for 546.5 yards and 4.56 touchdowns. Among the 26 tight ends with at least 50 targets last season, Henry ranked 14th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
