Saints designate Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring) to return from Injured Reserve
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring) has been designated to return from Injured Reserve on Monday.
Today's move will give the Saints a 21-day period to promote Smith to their active roster. With a relatively inexperienced receiving group, the 25-year old has an opportunity to see extended playing time even when Michael Thomas (ankle) is ready to return.
Smith's current yearly projection includes 19.8 receptions for 316.6 yards and 2.0 touchdowns on 34.1 targets.
