Eagles activate Dallas Goedert from COVID-19 list
The Philadelphia Eagles activated tight end Dallas Goedert from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Goedert missed last Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after testing positive for the virus. Zach Ertz was traded away after the game, opening up a larger role on offense for Goedert. In the last five games that Goedert played without Ertz, he scored twice and averaged 6.6 targets, 4.2 receptions, and 53.0 yards. The Eagles will play the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Ertz played 88.5% of the snaps and ran a route on 73.6% of Jalen Hurts' dropbacks in Week 6 without Goedert, potentially forecasting the role that Goedert will have moving forward. He is the TE7 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings and our models project Goedert for 6.1 targets. The Raiders are allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to the tight end position this season.
