James Conner (heel) practicing for Cardinals in Week 18
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (heel) is practicing for Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Conner is on track to return for Sunday's game after he missed the last two contests. Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) has started Week 18 with back-to-back missed practices, so Conner could be looking at a three-down role versus the Seahawks. Conner totaled 99 yards and a touchdown on 26 touches against Seattle in Week 11.
numberFire's models currently project Conner for 13.7 touches if the Cardinals have both backs active. The Seahawks are allowing the second-most FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season, but according to numberFire's adjusted metrics, they have the fifth-best adjusted run defense in the NFL.
