Chargers to draft Jalen Ramsey third overall?
The San Diego Chargers will draft Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey at third overall, NFL Network's Jeff Chadiha thinks.
It seemed clear Chadiha was guessing, but he is at the team facility and presumably having conversations with team officials. Ramsey hasn't been a particularly common pick for San Diego in mock drafts. Most have projected Oregon defensive lineman DeForest Buckner or Notre Dame offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley to the Chargers at 3. If the Bolts do go with Ramsey, the tea leaves suggest Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott would land in Dallas. The Cowboys are rumored to have Zeke above defensive lineman Joey Bosa on their board.
In 2015, San Diego ranked 29th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
