Falcons' Sean Weatherspoon feels back to pre-Achilles' form
Atlanta Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon said he feels "light years" healthier one year removed from his torn Achilles'.
Weatherspoon tore his Achilles' in 2014 and signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals last offseason only to play just 128 defensive snaps. Now healthy, Weatherspoon is back in Atlanta where it all started and has a chance to earn a starting job in a linebacker corps which is being remade in order to get faster.
With the 21st-ranked defense in the league last year by Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play, the Falcons are willing to try just about anything.
