James Robinson signs with Giants on Friday
Former New England Patriots running back James Robinson signed a contract with the New York Giants on Friday.
What It Means:
Robinson, who was waived by New England earlier this offseason, signed a contract with the Giants on Friday. Robinson has struggled to make an impact since being traded to the New York Jets from the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. Robinson's addition could provide the Giants will additional depth as they prepare for the possible absence of Saquon Barkley.
Robinson finished last season with 110 carries for 425 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns.
